Our application "ChemAlert" is a Chemical Management System which provides a clear and concise guide to chemical hazards in the workplace, facilitating methods for effecting an ongoing risk minimisation program, which in turn allows clients to meet their legislative obligations and internal safe chemical management processes.

About the Role

  • Undertake the research and compilation of ChemAlert reports and safety data sheets utilizing an in house purpose developed software program.
  • Work with a team of Scientific Advisers to maintain the existing ChemAlert program, and work towards continuous improvements in the delivery of technical and legislative information.
  • Consult with clients, authorities, manufacturers and suppliers in relation to chemical issues.
  • Potential to provide clients with other professional services, once sufficient experience has been attained.

About you

We are ideally seeking candidates who have the following:

  • Completion of a General Science or Environmental Science degree, with a preferable major(s) in Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biochemistry or related environmental science units.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Computing skills.
  • Be logical, well organized and well presented.
  • Be a team player and demonstrate initiative.
